Ipswich defender Darren O'Dea faces up to six weeks on the sidelines after undergoing a knee operation. The 23-year-old Celtic loanee sustained the original injury last month when he was on international duty with the Republic of Ireland. He continued to play for Town while the injury was managed but after aggravating it in the warm-up ahead of the Leeds game, he went under the knife in London to cure the problem. "Darren saw a specialist and had the operation last week," boss Roy Keane told the club's official website. "It's obviously disappointing to lose him. Hopefully he will be back in about six weeks."
