The Blues are on an amazing run at Portman Road which has seen them win their last 12 games at home, but have so far been unable to win away from Suffolk this season.
Speaking of his desire to chalk up the first away victory of the season Counago told the Ipswich Evening Star: "When we win one game away our confidence will grow. We are doing so well at home and we know it is different away.
"We have to concentrate on winning away and when that happens it will make all the difference.
"We are back in the top six and with a number of home games coming up we are well placed.
"It is important not to think too far ahead, but if we can get that one away win we will be in a very strong situation."
