It's believed that Counago is getting fed up of the way he is being treated by manager Joe Royle and has not been too pleased with recent negative comments about his peformances for the club in the two half games he has played so far in the pre-season campaign.
Speaking of the situation, Town boss Joe Royle told the Ipswich Evening Star: “Pablo does not agree that he is not playing well and we had a chat about it. It would be nice if he could get back to his best form."
Counago is currentley the highest earner at the club, and Town boss Joe Royle has repeatdly confessed that should offers come in for Town's top scorer in the 2002/3 season, he would have to listen to them for the sake of the club.
