Until the recent East Anglian Derby victory over Norwich, Peters had not featured for Town, but after starting his first game of the season against Cardiff, Peters is thinking positive about his future at the club.
"I was worried about my future here because I was not playing and you are always concerned when you are not in the team." He told the Official Ipswich Town Website.
"Two weeks ago I wasn't getting a look in, now I've played in the derby win and started in the first game under Roy Keane. That's football though. Things can change very quickly.
"Having someone like Roy Keane here as manager is great for any player. He has played at the biggest club in the world and won everything. You can only learn from being around him."
