Speaking to the Official Club Website, Town boss Joe Royle confirmed: "Lewis has taken a bang on his knee and it's very sore. But we won't be making any rash decisions. He will have an x-ray and we will take it from there.
"We have no problems with Shane. He is a terrific prospect. We also have Andy Rhodes registered but that would be panic for both me and Andy if he was called upon. There is no decision to make until we see how Lewis is."
