Town have been liked over the past week with the striker, with Town boss Roy Keane admitting he is looking to bring at least one if not two strikers to Portman Road to bolster the clubs goals output.
Earlier the players agent confirmed to the Hungarian press that Town had made an offer for his client: "I cannot reveal the price but I may confirm Ipswich have made a very serious offer for Watford's Tamas Priskin."
Since the end of the 2008/9 campaign, Dean Bowditch and Billy Clarke have been allowed to leave on free transfers, Danny Haynes has joined Bristol City and Jordan Rhodes has joined Huddersfield with Pablo Counago rejecting a move to Swansea City last month.
Meanwhile elsewhere the rumour mill continues to run in overdrive with 19 year old Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback being linked with a possible loan move to Town. The Newcastle born player has previously represented England at youth levels.
