The 21 year old goalkeeper made two appereances for the blues last season, including a nightmare home debut against Grimsby in the Nationwide League Division One, and was handed a free transfer at the end of last term along with former Norwich player Andy Marshall.
Speaking of the chance of the move, former Heybridge Swifts stopper Pullen told the official club website: "It knocked me back a bit that I couldn't get fixed up with a League club at the start of the season, after spending a year on loan at Blackpool and playing for Ipswich as well,"
"But I have always believed I am good enough to play League football and have worked hard at Dagenham and waited for my chance."
Peterborough Legend and boss Barry Fry has also confirmed his clubs interest: "Hopefully we will sign James, either on loan or on a permanent basis, but one way or the other I expect a deal to be done before the weekend. He's a good young keeper with experience in the League with Blackpool and I have also seen him do well in the Conference with Dagenham."
