Ipswich are still without David Norris (ankle), but Connor Wickham is expected to be passed fit despite picking up a knock against Hull City.
On-loan Hull midfielder Jimmy Bullard is available again after being ineligible for Saturday's game.
MATCH PREVIEW
Ipswich have won on three of their last four visits to Loftus Road, and their form could hardly be better ahead of their trip to face the team that are five points clear at the top of the table.
Town have won four of their last six matches and have scored 11 away league goals in 2011 - more than any other Championship side. Six of them came in a demolition of Doncaster in their last match on the road.
However, they have lost all their away games this season against teams currently above them in the table, and their goalscoring credentials will be tested against Rangers, who boast the division's best defensive record - despite showing some frailty at the back at times.
The London side are unbeaten in eight outings and will be keen to get back to wining ways after back-to-back draws. They have netted 33 times at home this term - more than any other second-tier club - but have found goals harder to come by recently.
