Reason Looking Forward to Wembley Date

Reason joined Cambridge on loan in February and since then has proven to be an invaluable member of the U's team, having been involved in 17 games for the side, scoring two goals and now the 19 year old looks certain to play in the Play-Off Final against Torquay on 17th May.

Speaking after Monday's 3-0 second leg semi-final win over Stevenage which fired United to Wembley Reason admitted: "I actually can't believe it. Coming here on loan from Ipswich I just saw an opportunity to show people what I am about and get some first team football,

"But through the work of the Gaffer and Cards I've learnt how to play in a team and play my part in making this team a success and never more so than today.

"This team has a belief in what we can do and we've shown that. We needed to be patient but eventually we did it and it is just what we deserved.

"I've had sleepless nights since the away leg. 3-1 seemed harsh but you just have to believe we can do it. We're confident in our ability and we've showed just how great our character is.

"The only worry was when the ref showed their lad the red card, After the last two games against them I thought 'please, not again'. But how we dealt with it showed what we've learned from our previous games at their place, it shows great commitment from the boys and it's Wembley here we come."
