Speaking of the threat of the Royals' forward, Royle told the Official Club Website: "Forster has a good record against us and he's a very good player at this level.
"He's quick, scores goals and can create things so we know we have to keep an eye on him but likewise we carry our own threat.
"We are the leading scorers in the division. Our front two have 26 goals between them and there is confidence running right through the squad.
"Infact the boys are flying. They are noisy in the dressing-room, the one-liners are coming from all directions and that's the way I like it.
"We know it will be a difficult game for us at Reading. Steve Coppell's sides are always well organised and they have good players all over the park but we're not a bad side ourselves and we'll go there and take them on."
