The former Norwich and England Under 21 goalkeeper has not figured in Joe Royle's plans all season, and was handed a free transfer at the end of last season before spending time on loan this season at both Wolves and current club Millwall.
Speaking of the outburst Town boss Joe Royle said: "I was disappointed with Andy. He should know better than to think that after working with these players. I appreciate things are rocking at Millwall and I'm genuinely pleased for him that he is doing well there but I felt his comments were wrong."
Earlier this week after Millwall and Town met at Portman Road on Saturday, Lions boss Dennis Wise admitted he would be interested in taking Marshall on full time when his loan expires.
