Speaking to the Official Club Website the former Everton boss said: "I’m not surprised there has been speculation because they are all good players but there has been no contact from other clubs about our players.

"I can’t do anything to stop the speculation, it’s part of the game now but I want to keep our young players at Portman Road anyway."
