Royle Rules out Les and Big Dunc Signings

Everton striker Ferguson has been linked to a move to the club several times since Joe Royle took over the managers hotseat from George Burley, and with Everton signing James Beattie this week, it was rumoured that it could make Big Dunc head for the exit door at the Merseyside club.

Another man linked to Town was Les Ferdinand, who had his contract at Bolton terminated by mutual consent, however again Town boss Joe Royle has denied that the club are interested in bringing the former England striker to Portman Road.

Meanwhile, Graham Stuart who was a previous target of Joe Royle, also will not be coming to Portman Road, Royle has now cooled his interest in the midfielder following the signing of Darren Currie from Brighton for £250,000 last month.
