Speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times, the former Everton manager said : "I will look at things this weekend and if things don't improve in terms of us scoring then there will be changes. It could be a case of me going out and bringing new people in. I have got my eye on one or two possible loan signings."
"It is only two games but we don't want to be dropping too far behind. We don't want the situation where we were last season of having to play catch-up.
"I'm not going to sit around hoping things will be all right. There is a problem and if it is not sorted quickly then we will move to rectify it by changing things."
Royle's comments seem to suggest that he feels the forwards area of the team is the biggest weakness, maybe Royle should ask himself why the strikers are not scoring, could it by any chance have anything to do with the disgrace that is the ITFC midfield?
Food for thought indeed.
