Royle: Town Should be Top

Speaking to the Official Club Website the former Oldham, Everton and Manchester City boss said: "I am the eternal optimist and am disappointed we are not top.

"It's only the two poor away performances at Nottingham Forest and Derby that have cost us that position.

"One of the positives though has been our form at Portman Road with four wins out of four.

"That has been a real plus point for us because last season our home performances and results weren't good enough and cost us dear."
