Speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times, Santos said: “I am happy at Ipswich and I want to stay. We have eight games left to play and I will be here right to the end and into the Premiership.”
Santos has mde 33 apperances so far this season but Town boss Joe Royle has admitted that he feels Santos is not needed at the club: "If Georges decides to stay it is not a problem - he is not being pushed out. I have five senior centre-halves available to me, so I have said that Watford can speak to him.
"Georges has done well for us. He's done fine, up to a point, but the situation has changed with Matt Elliott coming in on loan and others being fit."
