Ipswich striker Jason Scotland has promised not to take the threat of Northampton lightly in the Carling Cup tie at Portman Road. The Cobblers are languishing in the relegation zone at the foot of the Football League after losing five league games in a row but have beaten Brighton, Reading and Liverpool in the cup so far. Scotland told the club's official website: "They will come here full of energy and enthusiasm especially after beating Liverpool in the last round. "People might think we should automatically go through because we are in the Championship and they are in League Two but football doesn't work like that. "Northampton went to a Premier League club and won so they will think they can do that again here."
