The 28 year old who was involved in 27 Town games last season, played just shy of 80 minutes of the Group 9 clash held at the Philip II of Macedonia National Stadium before being replaced by Vlatko Grozdanovski.
The result leaves Macedonia in third place in the group following their game, level on points with Scotland who are one place above thanks to a better goal difference, and six points behind group leaders Holland.
