The former Sheffield United and Sunderland striker was originally facing a three game ban, but the Football Association have decided to add an extra game on top as they felt the appeal had little chance of success.
Town's joint top scorer with six goals to his name this season will now miss the FA Cup tie against Blackpool at the weekend in addition to league games against Leicester, Coventry and West Brom.
