Town Injury Crisis Deepens

Giovani Dos Santos lasted just 25 minutes before complaining of a groin injury, whilst Tommy Miller was replaced by Owen Garvan after 55 minutes after suffering a dead leg, and on the hour David Wright was forced off with a hamstring injury.

Of the injury to Dos Santos, Magilton told ITFC.co.uk: "Gio complained of a groin injury early on and couldn't carry on. He's not our player, being on loan from Tottenham, and we have to be careful with him and it's possible his injury came because of his lack of games."

Striker Jordan Rhodes, Midfielder Luciano Civelli, young defender Tommy Smith and midfielder come striker Jon Walters are already ruled out until the end of the season, whilst Moritz Volz is likely to be ruled out until Easter.
