Transfer Deal for Duo Collapses

It's widely expected that Keane was attempting to bring Sunderland duo Daryl Murphy and Dean Whitehead, two players he managed whilst at The Stadium of Light, to Portman Road.

Speaking to the Official Club Website, Keane said: "We did have two players in mind to bring to the club and we were hopeful something could be sorted.But that has not come to fruition. We will now look elsewhere and I have already identified other targets."
