The former Town player of the year has this campaign failed to reach the heights of previous seasons, and told the East Anglian Daily Times he is aware of this fact.
"I've not had the best of seasons as typified when I missed a first half header on Tuesday. If that had gone in - and I was well placed - it would have made a big difference." admitted the Town Skipper.
"I've played a few different roles and as captain I've adopted a different approach at times - but that's no excuse for being under par.
"The manager and the whole staff will have to take stock now and at the end of the season and see where we are.
"Players that are currently here on loan may not be available next season and there may be some clearing out to do."
