The match will take place on Friday 17th July with a kick-off time of 8.00pm and is one of a number of games planned for Town to play in the Irish Republic.
Speaking of his delight of the game being arranged, Waterford United skipper Michael Devine said: "This is great news, great for the club, and great for the players.
"We're delighted to get a chance to test ourselves against such strong opposition, and to see where we are as a team, all of our lads will be really up for this one!"
