The Ipswich forward, who turns 18 on Thursday, will be part of the squad for tomorrow night's friendly clash with Iceland in Preston - England's penultimate match before the start of the European Under-21 Championship in Denmark in June.
Wickham scored the winning goal for England Under-17s in their victory over Spain in the final of last year's European Championship and has swiftly been promoted to the higher age group.
He won a second Under-21 cap as a late substitute in last week's 4-0 win over Denmark and, with manager Stuart Pearce planning to make changes for Monday's match, Wickham is in the frame for a starting appearance.
He told FATV: "It'd be another summer tournament and I'd want to win another summer tournament. It would be difficult but if we play to the potential that's in our team then we can beat anyone on the day.
"I just want to keep playing football, and I want to play football at the highest level. I'm with England now and I want to show the gaffer and everyone else what I'm capable of to be in the mindset for the summer and for future England games."
