The former Norwich and England Under 21 goalkeeper was handed a free transfer at the end of last season due to his inconsistant peformances, and this season has been relegated to third choice goalkeeper behind new number one Kelvin Davis, signed from Wimbledon on a free transfer, and backup goalkeeper Lewis Price.
Wolves manager Dave Jones is said to be interested in a number of goalkeepers in the past few weeks, and Andy Marshall is reported to be one of those interesting him. According to the reports, Marshall and his agent have held talks at the midlands club, although Wolves have not yet spoken to anyone at Ipswich themselves.
With Marshall being told he is free to talk to any clubs that make an offer for him, it is unlikely that the Tractor Boys will hear anything regarding a possible until it takes place, which will have to be before the end of the transfer window which comes into effect on Friday.
Wolves have also expressed an interest in Tottenham goalkeeper Neil Sullivan and Aston Villa's reserve keeper Stefan Postma to boost a goalkeeping department which has already let in 9 goals this season in just two games with Champions Manchester United next on the fixture list.
