Ipswich defender Tommy Wright has returned to training after his exertions at this summer's World Cup with New Zealand. The 20-year-old left-back played in all three games as the All Whites caused an upset in South Africa by remaining unbeaten in Group F, which included a draw against holders Italy, although they still exited at the group stage. And after being afforded extra time to recuperate, Wright is back in action and raring to go. "I think you need a break as much mentally as physically," he told the club's official website. "I've had three weeks off after coming back, which gives time to recharge the batteries. "I've got a bit of catching up to do with the lads being back a while and having played a few games, but I'm sure the fitness levels will come back pretty quickly."
