Speaking to the Official Club Website, the defender said: "On a personal note, I am disappointed to see the manager go. He brought me to the Club and showed faith in my ability and I have a lot of respect for the boss.
"But we have not reached our target this year, which were the Play-Offs at least. That has been disappointing and Marcus has made his decision.
"It happens in football and you have to move on. It seems that the Club are looking at making an appointment fairly quickly and if someone did come in before the end of the season, I can see the benefit of that both ways.
"The new man will have a chance to look at the players in the squad and we will get an idea of how he wants to play his football, looking ahead to next season."
