The result means Town have now just won once in their last eight games in all competitions, failing to beat a Nottingham Forest side who had took just 5 points from 11 games prior to this evenings clash at the City Ground.

Speaking to the Official Club Website, Magilton said: "I thought it was a very good away performance and on another day we might have taken the three points.

"I thought we controlled the game, passed the ball very well and were comfortable. We passed them off the pitch at times.

"When we were scored I thought we would go on and win the game and we had opportunities. David Wright had a good chance and we had other bits and pieces around the box.

"It was a bad goal to give away but at half-time we had the belief that we could go on and get something out of the game.

"That is a step in the right direction for us, that we are going on our travels with belief that we can win games because that is something we lacked last season."

Tonights result leaves Town in 18th position with 14 points, three points ahead of the relegation zone, 5 points off the play-off's and 11 points behind second place Wolves, who in the shock of the night lost 5-2 to Norwich
