"We started brightly and Owen got two great goals for us, after good play in midfield, which put us in a fantastic position going in at half-time.
"I was delighted that Kevin Lisbie scored. He worked really hard and he will gain in confidence from that display and he played very well alongside Jon Walters.
"We got a bit sloppy at the end and gave the ball away a couple of times but all round it was a terrific display and we need to carry that on against Charlton on Tuesday.
Speaking about the sending off of David Norris for two bookable offences Jim added: "I thought it was a poor performance by the referee. There wasn't a bad tackle in the game but he was dishing out cards all over the place and put himself under pressure.
"It always looked like someone would end up with a red card but it was a nothing incident right at the end of the game and now we miss an important player for one game."
