The ITFM and Norwich City Mad message board users will be putting their own football skills to the test against one another in a derby game in which THEY can dictate the outcome to be held at Northgate Sports Centre with a kick-off time of 2pm on 5th July.
The game named 'Help for Heroes Shield' will, like the name suggests be to help raise money for our brave boys and girls out fighting in the Middle East. Each player will donate £5 as a 'playing fee' going to help the charity.
Big message board celeb names are on both team sheets in this EA Derby with jonsuperblues, SolidSnakeInABox, Gilbo_Town & belz1 all on the town team sheet. On the other side Philcanary, Navyj, NCFC_pompeyuni & NCFC_Chris will all be names that people will be itching to put faces to.
This goes without saying that the game is going ahead thanks to some true determination from the likes of Philcanary, timtheitfcledge and Benfolds57 who sadly isn't even able to play in the game, but still helped it go ahead when it looked like being sucked into one of those good ideas that never happened.
On many forums across the World Wide Web people always wonder what the person behind the avatar looks like, well for the guys from Ipswich and Norwich mad, its about to become a reality, people coming from far and wide, Norwich City fan Jai186 is even bringing down a minibus of fans, it goes to show that the East Anglian Derby really is overlooked in the world of football.
This isn't a behind closed doors affair, so feel free to pop along and cheer the boys on. Its most likely the only chance you'll get this year!
