Town boss Joe Royle admitted that he felt his side gave one of their worst peformances of the season in the match: "I'm delighted to have escaped with a draw. Realistically we could have easily won it because we had two great chances but that would have been hard on Coventry.
"Kelvin Davis made two terrific saves. He cost us a goal last week against Sunderland but he made up for it today. That was one of our worst performances of the season."
Meanwhile Royle's counterpart, Coventry boss Eric Black thought it was a fair result: "I suppose 1-1 was a fair result at the end of it." he said in the after match press conference.
"We're in a position where every game is vital to us. It's the standards of our performances that I am looking at and if we can get that consistency we won't be far away from the play-offs."
