Ipswich Town boss Joe Royle was very disappointed to be knocked out of the competition: "It's very disappointing to go out at this stage of the competition.
"We dominated possession and our goalkeeper didn't really have a save to make but we didn't create enough in front of goal either.
"Two or three of them didn't want to be there for whatever reason and it showed - we were chocolate warriors.
"We got hold of the game more in the second half after Tommy Miller had come on but we never got back in the game and I don't think we deserved to."
Meanwhile Doncaster boss Dave Penney was understandably delighted with the result: "Ricky (Ravenhill) came in to do a job on Jim Magilton to stop him playing but he ended up getting himself a goal.
"Jermaine (McSporran) has been a sub a few times and has been champing at the bit to get into the side and has struck an unstoppable shot into the back of the net.
"We hope to get a big team in the next round, particularly a home draw, as I don't think too many teams would like to come here when we're in this form."
