Former Northern Ireland international and Club Captain Jim Magilton felt whilst Town were not at their best on the night, Doncaster deserved their win: "Doncaster took the game to us and the second goal really knocked us back.
"Our performance wasn't good enough and it was a harsh lesson. We have got to learn from it and get back on track on Saturday against Plymouth. I am bitterly disappointed but full credit to Doncaster, they deserved it."
Meanwhile Canada international defender Jason De Vos, like Magilton thought his side was not good enough on the night: "We were not at the races at all and it was a poor performance all around.
"They only had two real shots at goal but scored with both of them. All credit to Doncaster but it was a bad night for us and not good enough in any way."
