Town penalty scorer Tommy Miller felt Town's first half performance was outstanding: "We were brilliant in the first-half and created a lot of chances. We looked comfortable after the break as well.

"We've had a great start and if we can continue to build on displays like that, there will not be many sides that will beat us. I'm pleased with my own form as well, four goals - two of them penalties but you still have to put them away."

Meanwhile skipper Jim Magilton who played 70 minures before being replaced by Tony Dinning felt it was the first time the blues have really got it together this season: "It was probably the first time this season we have taken what we have done on the training ground on to the pitch.

"We started the game well. The strikers were excellent and defensively we were very sound."
