Town boss Joe Royle was delighted to see his side earn a point: "I'm really pleased with a point and delighted with the performance. We have problems in the centre-half position and then, the goalkeeper having to go off was our worst nightmare.
"But the young lad (Shane Supple) made a fantastic save and gave a very promising display. But I thought our defence worked superbly to protect him."
Meanwhile Foxes boss Craig Levein was philosophical over the result: "I didn't expect this to be 0-0 after the way our first two games went but that's why football is such a great game - you have no idea what's going to happen.
"I felt we should have won today but I can't have a go at the players when we have created so many chances but they had two keepers out there who each had a good day."
