Speaking to the Official Club Website, Town's longest serving member of playing staff said: "After the sending off we had to readjust and in the second-half we dominated and were really unlucky not to get an equaliser.
"It was just a poxy goal that we conceded which was disappointing because we played well and even with ten men we could have got something out of it.
"When you go to ten men you all know that you've got to do that much more and we showed that we could all do that. We've now got to take that on to the next game and take all the positives out of this match, and there were many.
"Sito's dismissal was very harsh. He's trying to get back round the guy and if anything he's brushed him. Once the linesman has given the free-kick the referee's got no option.
"The referee has been very busy today and issued a lot of cards and that affects the game. As a player you don't want to see too much of the referee but today he was perhaps involved too much.
"We're capable of moving on from this performance in a very positive way. Apart from the goal, we've defended well as a team and passed the ball really well. It's that killer instinct in the box that we've not quite got yet - but, that will come."
