Palace 3-4 Town : Reaction

Town Manager Joe Royle was disappointed with his sides peformance in the first twenty minutes but was proud of his sides comeback while Palace Boss Steve Kember insisted that his side needs to be able to play well for 90 minutes rather than just in short spells.

Joe Royle:
"Palace ran us ragged for the first 20 minutes or so - they had us all over the place. But to come back was fantastic, and in the second half we really started to get hold of it. It would have been tragic if we hadn't won the game. Palace were terrific and very attacking."

Steve Kember:
"Our players are disappointed. We played well in the first 30 minutes - but then I've been saying that all season. We could have put Ipswich completely out of the game, but they did well to get back into it. We are giving sloppy goals away and we have got to remedy it."
