"We've seen the replays and if you stand on someone's head I'm afraid you should be sent off."
Joe felt that although Town should be happy with the nature of the equaliser, the Blues could have had more: "Ten minutes after half time they've had a bit of pressure but for the rest of the game Lewis Price has be redundant, they've come into our half three times and scored twice, which you might say is bad defending.
"After they scored we had three goals cleared off the line from corners. We need a break at the moment and that's not a manager under pressure screaming for the powers above to help him, that's just a fact.
"As it happens a young striker has come on late and got an equaliser for us which is a vital, vital point but it's also two points lost."
Joe highlighted the striker crisis the club has but is pleased was pleased with Nicky Forster's performance, he said:
"Fozzie needs a break infront of goal and deserves a goal but we need someone to play with him; Adam Proudlock's not fit, Dean Bowditch has called off with an achillies and also Proudlock can't play next week as part of the deal with Sheffield Wednesday that bought him here.
"We're having to put in kids that we think very highly of, make no mistake Billy is going to be some player and we have high hopes of Danny Haynes but they're not ready yet.
"I can't fault the team though; their effort, our fitness levels, our desire to play infront of our fans and our honesty can't be questioned. It's not the product that we had last year but this is what we are and this is what we've got and we will get better than this and when we start scoring goals we can win games."
QPR boss Ian Holloway disagreed with Royle and thought that his side should have wrapped up all the points: "It was a cracking game but too end to end for my liking.
"I always felt that Ipswich were dangerous with their headers and both their goals came that way. We had two breakaway chances in the second half that could have finished off the game and in the end it was disappointing to lose a goal so late."
