Speaking to the Official Club Website, the Dublin born stopper said: "It all happened so quick, me going on that I didn't really have time for any nerves to start.
"Sitting in the dressing-room at half-time, it was a bit different though. They kicked in then but the lads helped me settle down okay and I was pleased with the way the game went.
"I made a couple of saves early on and that helped my confidence and the lads in front of me defended really well. They have to take the credit for the point and the gaffer said after the match, 'why can't we defend like that every game?'"
Speaking of the injury to fellow keeper Price, Supple added: It's frustrating for Lewis, especially with a big chance of him playing for Wales in the week. We all just hope that it's not too serious."
