Craig Reid put Town ahead by scoring from the penalty spot before the Irons levelled things up shortly after, however soon enough Town took the lead again, with Liam Craig scoring his first of the game and at half time Town were leading 2-1.

The points looked safe when Reid lobbed in his second and Town's third, but Town leaked two goals in the final stages of the match, and had to settle with just a point.
